KUALA LUMPUR，1 MARCH 2021 — vivo Xi’an Research and Development (R&D) center was officially put into operation in February 2021, to further improve the global R&D network and layout. vivo works with Xi’an Software New Town to drive R&D and innovation
The Xi’an R&D center will host project in a team size of 200 people, debugging and development as well as algorithm pre-research as they apply to the imaging system. Xi’an R&D center is expected to further expand this year with gradual expansion into other fields and integrating more R&D businesses and moving to Xi’an.
vivo will rely on the resource endowment advantages and policy environment advantages of Xi’an software new town in the Northwest China to strengthen technical exchanges and business cooperation with related enterprises. Meanwhile, it will carry out the exchange and cooperation of technology and talents with relevant universities in Xi’an, and cooperate with industry, University and Research Institute to give play to the synergy effect.
