PETALING JAYA, 19 August 2021: Award winning home appliance manufacturer LG Electronics (LG) has announced the pre-order for its revolutionary wearable personal air solution, LG PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier, starting from 20th to 31st August. Upgraded from the innovative, wearable device LG first launched globally last year, the latest model offers an enhanced all-around performance along with a convenient voice amplification feature and a more comfortable, lightweight design. The improved LG PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier is set to officially arrive in Malaysia in September this year and will be available for purchase across LG authorised dealers as well as LG Official Store on Lazada and Shopee.

The latest addition to LG’s comprehensive air care solution family employs high-performance filters and sensor-controlled fans to ensure clean air and optimal breathing comfort anywhere, any time.
“LG engineers experienced in air purification technologies looked into the challenge of staying safe while minimising the inconveniences of face masks and have come up with a new personal air solution with better performance and comfortable to wear every day,” said Kim.
High-efficiency Air Purification
The upgraded LG PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier is equipped with a fully automatic fan airflow control system that increases breathing comfort.[1] It also incorporates two HEPA H13 filters, the same as those found in premium air purifiers for the home, to ensure the air the user breathes is as clean as healthy as possible. The Wearable Air Purifier is proven to remove harmful particles such as dust, virus, bacteria and allergen[2] up to 99.95% with its HEPA H13 filters.
Breathing Clean Air Made Easier
The Wearable Air Purifier is fitted with respiratory sensor that senses user’s breathing and Dual Fans with an ultra-small and lightweight motor that automatically adjust to the breathing cycle to allow consumers to effortlessly breathe pure, filtered air in almost any environment, with auto fan air flow control at 10~55 LPM (Liter per minute). This advanced system prevents stuffiness and a common problem for those wearing glasses and mask at the same time, keeping their lenses from fogging up when exhaling.
Moving and Speaking with Ease
Sporting a fresh, new design, the upgraded LG PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier provides a subtle yet stylish look and comes in chic colour: Creamy White. Additionally, the device will be offered in large sizes of face guard, with medium sizing available on separate purchase to provide a better fit for more consumers. Its seamless, ergonomic design minimises air leakage around the nose and chin, sealing gently but firmly to the wearer’s face. Weighing in at only 94 grams,[3] which is 25% lesser than previous model, the latest model is comfortable to wear for longer periods of time and is perfect for everyday use.
It also comes with the brand new VoiceON™ feature[4], which is a built-in microphone and speaker that automatically recognises when you are speaking and projects your voice out, so no one has trouble hearing what you’re saying. Additionally, the Wearable Air Purifier will be complemented with an elastic and adjustable ear strap as well as extender for a more comfortable fit.
What’s more, the latest LG PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier brings greater on-the-go convenience courtesy of a larger, 1,000 mAh battery that offers up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge[5]. In the upcoming 4th quarter of this year, LG will be releasing a companion app that will connect to the product via Bluetooth, allowing users to track their breathing and intuitively manage the device from a smartphone.
