Liberty General Insurance brings joy and warmth to Rumah Victory this festive season
Kuala Lumpur, 24 December 2024 – This Christmas, Liberty General Insurance (Liberty) brought the spirit of giving to life with a heartfelt engagement initiative that touched local communities through our Liberty and Kurnia brands. From meaningful visits to Rumah Victory – a non-profit organisation that provides shelter and support to vulnerable groups in Malaysia, to the festive charm of the Liberty & Kurnia Christmas Truck, the initiative spread joy, connection, and compassion throughout the festive season.

At Liberty, we see it as our responsibility to make this impact a positive one,” expressed Puneet Pasricha (Pasha), Chief Executive Officer of Liberty General Insurance Berhad. “Our visit to Rumah Victory and the Christmas truck initiative is a testament to our dedication to improving the quality of life for undeserved communities and making a tangible difference where it is needed the most.”
At Rumah Victory Nursing Home, the team delivered gifts and essentials to enhance the residents’ comfort and well-being. Standfans, carrom boards, and care packages with new bed sheets and towels were provided, while a karaoke machine added a spark of celebration, bringing residents together for cheerful sing-alongs. These gestures were complemented by the provision of daily necessities to support their well-being.
Meanwhile, at Rumah Victory Orphanage, the focus was on inspiring and uplifting children as they prepare for the new school year. Liberty provided school bags, toys, and sports equipment such as footballs and basketballs to encourage learning and play. Additionally, Liberty’s sustainability team conducted an engaging session on sustainable practices, reinforcing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values to inspire the next generation.
Beyond the visits, the Liberty & Kurnia Christmas truck made its presence felt in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur, symbolising togetherness and joy. The truck brought festive cheer to local communities, embodying Liberty’s commitment to making a positive impact.
