Petaling Jaya, 12 August 2024 – This August, the Curve is set to transform into a vibrant hub of festivities as it proudly celebrates 20 Years of Unity and Community with the launch of the Merdeka Campaign 2024. Marking the mall’s 20th Anniversary, this month-long extravaganza is dedicated to the spirit of harmony, heritage, and cultural pride, promising to captivate and unite all who visit.
At the heart of the celebrations is the theme “Ceritera JIWA Merdeka,” which beautifully encapsulates Malaysia’s diverse cultural heritage. JIWA stands for Junjung Maruah (Dignity), Ikatan (Unity), Warisan (Tradition), and Alunan (Performances), reflecting the core values that bind our vibrant communities together. The cornerstone of the Merdeka Campaign 2024 is the eagerly anticipated Merdeka Food Run on 31st August 2024, culminating the month-long celebration with a grand finale. This 5km family fun run offers a blend of fitness and festivity for all ages. Participants will embark on a culinary journey with various food stops featuring local delights to celebrate Malaysia’s culinary diversity. Participants can also further enhance their weekend experience by booking a staycation package with the Royale Chulan Hotel, making it a perfect weekend getaway for both local and out-of-town guests.

Visitors can look forward to the vibrant Pasar Lokal at The Street, showcasing local vendors and unique products, perfect for discovering hidden gems. At the Fashion Court, the bustling Merdeka Bazaar will offer a variety of goods and souvenirs, celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of local artisans. Fitness enthusiasts can explore the latest in sportswear and equipment at the Sports Apparel Fair in Centre Court. These activities ensure there’s something for everyone, making the Curve’s Merdeka celebration a truly inclusive and enriching experience.
Enhancing the excitement, the Curve’s Merdeka Lucky Draw offers shoppers a chance to win big between 1st and 31st August.
